Melbourne Luxury Tailoring began in 1989 as South Yarra Alterations, a single neighbourhood workroom built on one belief: a garment cut to your shape changes the way you look and feel. It grew into Finest Alterations, known across five stores in Melbourne, before being renamed Melbourne Luxury Tailoring, a name that says exactly what we do. Today it continues as a single flagship boutique in the heart of South Yarra.

More than three decades on, we remain a proudly family-run business. What has never changed is the craft: precise, patient, hand-finished tailoring, led by a master tailor with more than forty years of experience and a team who share the same exacting standards.

Over three decades we have tailored for international designer brands and luxury fashion houses, corporate, hospitality and hotel clients, and A-list celebrities for events.
